Welcome to the Mindful Strengths and Meaning Company!
Michael Hall is a coach, facilitator, and positive psychology practitioner driven by a deep passion for helping people uncover their strengths, navigate change, and live with greater purpose. As the founder of Mindful Strengths and Meaning Coaching (MSMC), he blends nearly two decades of leadership across entrepreneurship, coaching, wellness, and health advocacy to guide individuals and teams toward meaningful, sustainable growth.
Michael holds a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Bachelor’s in Sport Management from the University of Connecticut, and a Certificate in Performance Leadership from Cornell University. His extensive training spans strategic change, collaborative leadership, motivational interviewing, and inclusive program design, all rooted in evidence-based practices.
Before founding MSMC, Michael spent 14 years building and leading a successful sport management company. This entrepreneurial journey shaped his ability to lead with vision, adapt to complex challenges, and create systems that support both performance and well-being — expertise he now brings to his work in coaching and program development.
Michael specializes in helping people build clarity, resilience, and momentum by integrating mindfulness, self-compassion, and strengths-based strategies. He designed the Mindful Strengths and Meaning Program to promote resilience and support healthy aging, and he also facilitates evidence-based programs like A Happier You and Flourish as a certified guide. Whether leading group experiences or working individually with clients to align their actions with core values, Michael combines rigorous science with genuine care, creating spaces where people can explore their strengths, deepen self-awareness, and truly flourish.
He has shared these insights with diverse audiences, delivering a keynote on inclusive workplace well-being to over 600 participants and co-authoring a Philadelphia Inquirer article on navigating job loss with practical, evidence-based strategies. Certified in Mental Health First Aid and trained in research ethics, Michael brings professionalism, integrity, and deep care to every client and program, helping people reconnect with what matters most and take meaningful steps forward. In recognition of his commitment to innovation and collaborative problem-solving, Michael and his team received the People’s Choice Innovation Award at The Cigna Group’s 2025 iTournament for their initiative, Flourish Coaching: A Cross-Functional Autism Support Team to Bridge Behavioral & Medical Care, which created a compassionate, cohesive process to better support neurodivergent patients and their families.
